Welcome to our interns who hit the ground running July 1st!
Welcome to the homepage for the BUMC general surgery residency. We are a busy residency program located in Dallas, Texas. Our home institution, Baylor University Medical Center, is a 914 bed not-for-profit quaternary care center and Level 1 trauma center. We treat more than 300,000 patients annually, and perform more than 20,000 surgeries annually across all specialties. We also manage approximately 20-30% of the trauma in the DFW area, and our ED sees over 120,000 cases annually.
